The path to the top was not easy; born in Germany to an immigrant family, he then went on to become a qualified and practicing lawyer in Germany, starting a rapidly growing football agency managing some of the biggest names in world football, all whilst studying for a Ph.D in Sports Law. Erkut had to equip himself with the mental skills to overcome all odds and persevere against adversity to achieve his goals in all areas of his life.
